I found this to be a great purchase for me and I have read reviews of how uncomfortable this shoe is and how it rubs and blisters on the instep/heel. I have a solution, and I do it with every pair of shoes I buy: I buy a pair of gel insoles. it does the job: 1. makes the shoe more comfortable and 2. it lifts the foot a bit just enough to prevent the back from rubbing on the heel and blistering. If you have wide feet, they are going to hurt. I tried two sizes but it was too tight when trying to put my feet in. If the velcro would open, the problem would be solved. The elastic part does not live up to expectations.

Bought a pair of Pumas similar to these a few years ago, they weren't the best quality but these were much better. Much stronger and more comfortable.

Size 10 1/2 was ordered and delivered and fits this size as it should. But this is only for skinny legs. If you have ever ordered wide shoes, these are even thinner than normal narrow shoes. I'll work on stretching them, maybe even popping them. We'll find out.

I don't know why people say they are comfortable. My back digs into my heels when I walk. The shoes hurt my soles. Anything but comfortable. There's almost no sole, so it's not "soft foam". Not suitable for long distances.
