I still give 5 stars because the quality and fit is great apart from the fact that the XL size for boys was huge for my 13 year old son. He's medium weight and a little big. The waist is huge in XL. He usually wears size XL in champion shorts and other big boy shorts. Although the big one was perfect for him. They run on the longer side, which I really like, but might be too long if your child is smaller.

Soft material and strong seams. Should last him a long time. The product itself deserves all 5 stars but Revain's shipping and billing nonsense is the reason I only gave it 4 stars. Shown is "Puma Black". We got the black/grey striped shorts first and my son loved them so we ordered the Puma Black shorts in the same size and they were obviously bigger - way too big! Both variants are soft and not too thick, but not too thin either. Both hang well and both have pockets. The pockets are made from the same material as the shorts (rather than mesh like some athletic shorts).
