Looks good ! for pump accessories

Works as it should after a slight adjustment to the length of cord attached, the float now turns on at 18 inches of water and off at 9 inches.

Pros
  • Suitable for use with sump, sewage or sewage pumps
Cons
  • weak

Works great for water pumps, parts and accessories

I installed this float switch on a stormwater sump in my driveway. After the first storm I had to lower it onto the penstock to set the make contact. The next storm worked perfectly every time.

Pros
  • Includes hose tie and cable clip for easy installation to pump standpipe
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Easy install, wish the cord was longer.

Simple protection for my pond pump that fails every 2 years because the basket fills with leaves etc. Installation is very simple, it's just a hose clamp. The cord is shorter than the pump, which is a bit awkward, but other than that it seems to work so far.

Pros
  • Universal replacement for most ripcord applications
Cons
  • Troubleshooting

Perfect match for Zoeller M53

The vertical switch on the M53 only has a reach of about 2 inches before tripping. I put a float switch in and it has a much longer range. It hadn't rained in quite some time, so it took a long time for the pool to fill to a level that would trip the float switch. I noted the water level on a stick before the pump started and again when the pump shut off. about 7 inches of water drained. Almost 1 hour and 40 minutes elapsed between discharges. Without a float switch, the pump switched on after…

Pros
  • Rated to 15 amps
Cons
  • Nothing here
