Fits perfectly with the rails, but very unfavorable size. My landings are a little under 3 x 3 feet and this mat looked ridiculous no matter how I oriented it. I ended up returning all of these mats and replacing them with round mats from a different brand. I wish it was in other sizes.

It should be noted that they adhere very well to laminate or polyurethane stair coverings. (proven by 7 grandchildren) When a ladder is covered with oil paint it doesn't stick at all. First you need to seal the stairs with polyurethane or something else. Then they will surely bring you lasting beauty and functionality.

Very satisfied with this product. We bought this to place at the bottom of the stairs to help our adult dog get off the stairs onto the hardwood floor. This product has proven itself very well for this use, our dog no longer hesitates at the foot of the stairs and we are now also used to the gentle touch from the last step to the carpet and then to the parquet. I recommend a mat for this transitional purpose!

This landing mat was purchased for my front foyer; However, the rug folds in three and the creases will not settle or blend with the surrounding rug material - even after TWO washes in cold water and hanging to dry. Due to its messy appearance I removed it from the front door and now use it under the litter box. They don't care if the carpet has dirty transport creases, but I do! This is a bad choice for the beautiful corners of your home.

Just installed today so I have no idea of durability. My boxer is old and has fallen down the stairs several times. Once we installed it, it went up and down again. Worth every penny compared to the vet bill or her fall pain. I recommend dark brown on dark stairs if you prefer them to blend in. The notch around the leading edge looks more finished than flat parts. The photos in this review are better than those on the web in terms of color matching.

I bought this mat for the front door landing. I've bought PURE ERA carpet stairs in the past and I've really liked them. They are so soft and the 1/4 inch pile provides excellent underfoot cushioning. However, this rug has a very dense, flat-woven pile. So it is well suited for a house entrance, but not necessarily for a landing. . What I really like about this rug is its backing. The carpet stays where you put it. It adheres perfectly to the wooden floor. I can suck it and it doesn't move.
