The other blankets I bought were smaller. It's 50x70 and I use 2 on a queen bed in duvet covers with a sheet. Duvet covers are washed once a week. So my husband and I don't have to share the lid. It's cool in the summer, but in the winter I'll see if it's warm enough. The quality is excellent!

For several years I searched for a replacement for what I found almost 18 years ago and couldn't believe it wasn't widely available. I'm glad I stumbled across this and am thrilled with the product. My 85 year old mother liked this place even more on a recent visit as she is from the Gulf Coast region and I live in the Pacific Northwest. Considering another purchase it's so nice.

I was very disappointed when the duvet arrived with no pocket for hiking but I'm glad I kept it (I ended up making a pocket for stuff ) because it made a big difference when camping in 30 degree temperatures in Yellowstone. The fabric is of good quality, not too thick, packs well and warms significantly. It looks so pretty that I plan to use it on the couch during the colder months. You need to remove the image of a bag with things from the side.

Bought this to nap in my chair. I'm 5'8" and it's the perfect length to cover me from my toes to my neck leaving a few inches. In winter my house is kept at 64 degrees and this blanket keeps me warm. I bought this blanket to keep warm and comfortable with frequent IV fluids and hospital stays. Was a little disappointed initially as the duvet felt very flat, hard and rough upon arrival. However, after a single wash and dry, it's much softer, more huggable and nice and fluffy and I'm very happy with it. Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. I read the reviews and there were some negative ones but after using one a friend loaned me for a retreat last month I knew what I was getting.
