    This is the only flavor my picky cat likes, although he likes liquid more than chunks.

    My cat loves the liquid part and usually only eats half of the pieces/schnitzel. But it eats up more of it than any other brand flavor I've tried and better than any other brand flavor we've tried over the years, even the most expensive ones. He's a pain in the ass, but we love him. I don't know how to rate the taste as I will not try this beef flavored cat food. Or any cat food. However, the cat likes it much more than anything else.

    Cat liked it until he was diagnosed with diabetes

    Both of our cats love Friskey - almost anything but pie. Unfortunately, one of our cats (only 5 years old) was recently diagnosed with diabetes, prompting us to evaluate the levels of this substance in commercial cat food. All cats, but especially diabetics, need a diet that is high in protein but not high in carbohydrates (not so many carbs in mice, if you think about it!). Unfortunately, Friskies just doesn't have the good nutritional profile that we are currently looking for in both kittens.
