🚗 Purolator Single Cabin Air Filter C36179 Review

Perfect for my 2012 Kia Optima. It is very easy to change, so I will change them more often. I've read that a lot of people have had trouble getting it in without bending over, but I haven't had that kind of trouble.

A bit mysterious how to remove the old filter but once I figured it out (many online guides) the new filter was in place right away. The job probably took about 10 minutes.

To be honest I can't tell what the difference is between this and other brands I've bought. As far as I can tell it does the job and doesn't restrict airflow. like other fats. The main reason I'm sticking with it is because the filter says "Made in the USA" and it costs about the same as imported alternatives.

The Purolator C36179 single cab air cleaner meets all of its advertised specifications. The only flaw I found with the filter is that the dimensional design is such that it fits perfectly into the case and it took some fiddling to fit properly. After installation it works perfectly. I would recommend this without hesitation.

What a bad buy. This thing lets all the dust through. Stick to OEM from now on. I think there are things you can't skimp on. It was a few millimeters thinner than the Hyundai OEM filter.
