🚗 Puroma Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon - CP285/CF10285 Replacement (2 pcs) for Toyota, Lexus, Scion Review

Perfect fit for my 2018 Toyota Tundra. The only complaint is that initially like the first few days there was a slight odor that then seemed to dissipate. My beef is that it's meant to eliminate odors, not deliver, but it didn't last long so no harm done. It was a good price and overall quality.

This filter was used on my 2015 Subaru Outback. Took about 10 minutes to change the filter. Only problem is which side comes up, I just looked at the old filter and where the sheet/bedding was and replaced accordingly. The whole process was easy and I have another filter that I will use later. Saved a lot of money compared to a trip to the dealer.

Replaces 2019 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Genuine Cabin Filter 87139-YZZ20. Easy installation thanks to uniform filter dimensions. The original filter has 28 very thin folds (on the right in the photo); This new filter has 22 thicker multi-layer pleats with layers of black carbon visible (left in photo).

Unknown brand, at least to me, but after receiving and inspecting the filter I was pleased. I service my cars myself, not only to save money, but also to monitor the health and operation of various systems. I would rate this filter above many famous brands and the price is much lower.

Toyota charged $55 to replace this cabin filter for me! Got 2 for $12 - very easy to change myself. I only had a bit of an issue getting the glove box back in place, but that was more because I didn't really know what I was doing lol. I like that it contains activated carbon - an additional barrier to purify the air. I'm allergic so that's a plus.

These filters really reduce airflow in both my cars. I have a Toyota Highlander and an Avalon that use the same cabin air filter. I ordered two packs and immediately noticed that the air flow in both cars was significantly reduced after installation. The maximum fan speed now corresponds to half the speed of the old filter. I have to take out the filter to keep the cabin cool on a hot day.

This product looks good but installation was a chore and I'm not sure if this is a RAV4 or a filter. The problem with the RAV4 is that the back of the body is tapered and the rest of the body is quite stiff and difficult to slide into the back where the opening is smaller. It's weird why they do it. Not sure if these filters are too hard or too big? Finally put it in the slot and closed the hole. Next time I'll look around to see if others are a better fit. Otherwise they are stable and look…

Everyone should change the filters in the car in time. Why pay your dealer or service center extra money for something you can replace yourself in minutes? It's easy money for them, but you can keep that money in your pocket with very little effort. The quality of this filter is no less than that supplied to car services for replacement. Changing the cabin filter in each of my cars took less than 5 minutes. It is located behind the glove compartment on both vehicles. Tools are not required.
