No diamond despite certificate of authenticity

I'm pretty sure it's an amethyst as stated in the description. However, the certificate of authenticity states that it is a natural purple diamond. I tried to find the serial number in CoA and got an error message. That being said I chose this for earrings rather than CoA and the earrings are beautiful. The post is marked 14k and the stone is clean. They are very pretty and look forward to wearing them when I go out again.

Beautiful earrings! Looks real

These purple amethyst earrings are amazing. They come in a sturdy burgundy faux alligator leather presentation box giving the presentation a very sophisticated and premium look. Earrings have a very deep, light shade. Photos do not convey this. They appear very dark, but catch the light effectively. The 14k white gold metal is smooth and shiny. The box comes with a certification card, but it says the gemstones are natural diamonds. I suspect that can't be true (since they appear to be realโ€ฆ

They are very beautiful but I feel uncomfortable gifting them with the wrong card.

These earrings are very beautiful and stand out so beautifully! Very simple and yet so elegant. Violet - A very deep but vibrant violet that sparkles when struck by light. They are a good size - not too big, not too small. The white gold part is also exquisite and perfect. I have no complaints about how it looks. The reason I'm giving this two stars is because, like other reviewers, the authenticity card that came with my purple amethyst earrings was also wrong. It is exactly the same as theโ€ฆ
