Do a rough test before installation. Because sometimes there are little surprises like a poorly soldered and glued connector that comes loose at the slightest touch. Also, when connecting Bluetooth from my phone, the sound quality sounds almost as bad as the speaker on the phone itself. This is mainly due to the "Bluetooth" adapter that you get with these speakers. Received these today and "finished" the install. I'm renovating my shed workspace so they're currently hung with drywall scraps while I work on the rest of the building. Overall I would buy them again but I had one downside - the clamping system. When tightening with a screwdriver, the ears wanted to pop out, making tightening impossible. The ability to place these speakers in the bathroom and toilet without having to run wires to the amplifier justifies the cost. I installed it on the first floor of a two story house where there was no room to run around, but running the speaker wires to each speaker following the holes it cut was not a problem. I bought this unit to mount on the ceiling of my porch that I recently remodeled. I installed the speakers a few days ago, the sound is excellent. However, there is a problem.
