I bought this unit to mount on the ceiling of my porch that I recently remodeled. I installed the speakers a few days ago, the sound is excellent. However, there is a problem. The Bluetooth receiver/amplifier is the size of a glasses case. He's not very powerful. In my case, I want to annoy the neighbors loudly with great clarity of sound (not that I'm playing that loud). I just didn't have enough power for the 250W speakers. I ended up buying an inexpensive 200w home bluetooth receiver and plugging it in. Not enough power to blow up the speakers, but certainly enough to deliver good sound and volume well beyond what I'll ever need. It is important that the loudspeakers are weatherproof and should last a long time outdoors. I think it's worth the price just for the speakers. If you're not worried about making it really loud, then you'll be happy with what's in the box. I'm no expert but I'd be surprised if there was a 25w amp in the box.
