Don't expect this helmet to last very long, fair warning

college welding lessons, I've only used a few times, and the electronic screen has already cracked in the corner. We don't weld every day and by the time we started welding I was past the 30 day deadline to come back because I can't take it.

Pros
  • magnifying glass holder for detail work.
Cons
  • There are doubts

Nice for the price!

This helmet works very well and has a very large viewing window. I took off a star because lifting the helmet always loosens the right hand swivel nut so I have to retighten it regularly. It's a minor annoyance and overall it's a good helmet. It looks very good.

Pros
  • Heavy-duty nylon strap provides an excellent fit.
Cons
  • Not sure

Good work. Monthly

I have had this helmet for about 7 months and I am very frustrated. I bought this hood in January 2018 and up until May of this year it was working exactly as I expected. I'm in a welding program at a local college, so I didn't weld at all over the summer, and the hood sat in the garage until August (California weather, so I know no moisture got into the electronics). Now that the school has resumed fall school, the hood doesn't work at all. It does not dim until a full second has elapsed after

Pros
  • High-speed lens with 1/30,000 second response time.
Cons
  • Some errors
