This was the perfect replacement for my Pyrex 2 mug. I've had mine for about 10 years and a couple of my lids have cracked. I think it's great that I can easily swap out the lids. This is way better than changing the whole bowl.

The lid on my Pyrex 2 cup cookware cracked and I have not been able to use it - until now. Revain is very handy - just checked to see if they even offer replacement caps (don't know why I ever doubted them). I now have 2 caps to use so hopefully they don't wear out too quickly.

These are real Pyrex lids! So if you love Pyrex containers like me, you won't be disappointed when you order these extra lids. For some reason covers disappear over time so it's great to be able to order replacements. I also found the price very reasonable.

Pyrex really needs to solve the lid problem. I end up having to buy replacement caps every few years because they keep tearing. It's a pain and it's BORING. I hate the thought of tossing an item like this in the trash because I know it's going to rot in a landfill for the next few hundred years. Come on Pyrex.

I accidentally left something in the microwave with the lid not fully closed but on the container. Good. Eventually the lid closed while I was reheating the food. I left it in the microwave for about 2 minutes and this created a vacuum in the container during the cooling process and pulled the lid all the way back into the container, stretching it into the food and permanently deforming the lid. We have been using Pyrex glass jars with plastic lids at home for over 5 years. Now we only wash them by hand because the lids are starting to get brittle and eventually the plastic will crack because it no longer has enough strength to snap onto the jar without breaking. Once these cracks have formed, they no longer retain their tightness. When new they do not leak unless there is liquid in the container and the container is left upright at room temperature. This is an exact replacement for my original Pyrex set. I was in a hurry to order them so I saw the color I needed to change and assumed they would be the same size but they are not. I'm ashamed that I didn't take a closer look. I ended up keeping them and ordering a full set of round and square lids to replace mine, knowing they're all going to break sooner or later. I even hand wash mine but they still tear after a while. It's a good thing that there are swaps.

I had to replace the lid on my large pyrex bowl because the lid melted in the microwave. They should be in the microwave, but I assume I got a defective one to begin with. The replacement has been great so far and hasn't shown any signs of melting, so that's a good thing. My only gripe is that I had to order a pair even though I didn't need the smaller cap.
