I use this cable for my external hard drive at a pretty good price and the cable is decent, could be a bit longer but I can't complain about the price

Due to the portable office pandemic, unfortunately my external storage device fell off while moving my desk and the original USB connector was bent. Well this product came in a timely manner and was a perfect replacement.

I like that the cable reads much faster than my WD 3TB Easy Store external hard drive. The only downside is it crashes but accidentally opens my hard drive in a new window as it was unplugged and plugged back in, got it today let's see how it holds up

I connected a cable to my Passport 1TB drive, transferred files to it from my laptop, and then disconnected it from the drive. It won't go away. Tried to wiggle and tug a little, nothing. Then I tried to slowly apply more and more force, but still nothing. I plugged the drive back into my computer, now the drive light just blinks and no folders/content loads. Needless to say I'm angry.

This worked great for my portable hard drive that was performing poorly. I thought I had to get rid of it, but I did a little research and found that the cable I was using was damaged. I bought it, plugged it in and the hard drive worked like new again! Many Thanks. I've only given it 4 times for charging and durability because I didn't have enough time to test both areas.
