Good product, low price

Three sizes of heat shrink connectors. They feel of good quality and will engage and separate correctly with the right effort. If it sucks I'll go back and fix the review, but so far they don't feel like cheap crap from a dealership.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Good product and fully meets my needs

I use these to attach different sized alligator clips to my test piece. They are easy to install and the ability to shrink the connector onto the wire helps to securely snap in place and keep the connection strong and secure. A good product for a tool box in a shop.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Outdated

good plug set

It seems that when I need good plugs I always miss the right size or style so I finally broke down and bought this wholesale set. I doubt I'll ever use them all, but the convenience of having what you need when you need it has value to me. And for the price, it's not a lot of dollars to sit on a shelf

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Damaged

Missing Point in Industrial Electrical

Great idea, but poorly executed. When assembled and shrinked, the balls leave a small portion of the connector open. The metal part is not buried deep enough and is exposed after heating. Now I need to add shrink tubing to them to prevent accidental sparking. Also, the metal is a little flimsy and it would be great if all the balls were the same size.

Pros
  • Rugged Design
Cons
  • Poor Instructions

Poor quality at Industrial Electrical

I bought these to use on trailer cables. Trying to get them to crimp and keep the wire in the crimp was a waste of time (used crimping tools from my airplane maintenance job). Eventually, since I needed a connector, I just cut the "shrink tubing" and soldered the connectors on, then used my own heat shrink tubing. It was a huge waste of time and I would consider it rubbish!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great product for the price

I purchased this product specifically for use on a motorcycle to quickly trim off added product. I used this item to install the product on my motorcycle which I was later able to easily remove. These terminals are excellent quality and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the actual heat shrink works. Normally I would buy a branded product for an occasion like this, but these connectors combine with branded quality. Buy with confidence.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Yes, this is garbage!

My Mercury outboard uses round connectors and I wanted 'this? kit" for assembling the wiring harness. Well, like other reviews, the metal part is too flimsy and flimsy for crimping of any quality. Worst of all, females are 12-10 sizes, they can't be crimped at all. Both ends are junk , the crimp end on mine is slotted, on the other end I can't get the ball end into the socket Wrong size, you can force it and you can get it before the plug bends, but you still can't crimp the end of the wire…

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Garbage! Pure garbage! in the ass

I bought these plugs thinking I got a good deal. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. These are absolutely horrible creampies. The metal is very thin and there is virtually no room to crimp. I tried crimping a piece of wire with FIVE different crimps and they ALL fell off before I could shrink them. I threw away the whole lot and kept the box and also bought good quality ferrules from my local tackle and rider store. A NOTICE. I will do a similar NEGATIVE review of another set of connectors using solder…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

Ease of use is expensive

Soldering is much better than crimping, but that only counts if you're really good at soldering. For the rest of us newbies, crimping connectors is very easy. All you need is a wire stripper, a crimping tool and a lighter.1. Use wire cutters to remove the sheath to expose the wire.2. Insert the wire into the body of the cylindrical plug 3. Crimp with a tool 4. Shrink with a lighter There are a couple of minuses. The connection is not as secure as if it had been properly soldered. If the first…
