It's okay. I bought this brand because it was rated as the best for dark hair. I will say that only light colors are visible on dark hair (i.e. not purple, red, blue, etc.) and this is conditional. It rinses off easily and kids love to use it, but application can be tricky so read the directions and explain to the kids if needed. It's a fun way to while away the time, but when it comes to non-blonde hair, know that you most likely won't get the results you want.

Love this set! Vibrant colors including sparkling colors I didn't know about, even better! Worked well on my daughter's brown hair. I would recommend styling and then coloring the hair, it makes the hair stiff so it is difficult to style. Otherwise it's perfect! Posted photos with and without flash.

The colors are great. I like that I can choose how much to use, long or short. It will warn you that it won't wash off the first time, so be prepared to wear your hair that color for a day or two. However, these colors do not fade quickly and do not fade throughout the day.

My daughter wanted rainbow hair so much I bought this product. Hair chalk is literally like chalk that needs to be colored. Unfortunately most of the colors didn't come out as well as I had hoped and it took a long time to finish even some of her hair (dark brown). My daughter has dark brown hair and it suits her hair very well. You could even see the purple in her hair when she was in the sun or under the light. They should be called hair chalk because they have a more waxy consistency than chalk. They work great! The directions state that wet hair is important, especially if you have dark hair. The colors are really pigmented. I also used them as makeup! Washes off easily. Good product!
