My family member recently broke his screen and didn't have money for a new one. I lent her an old phone and ordered a screen. I've replaced other screens before, but this was my first time on an iPhone 8. Everything went smoothly and it's working again.

Not only did this screen not work, but it also damaged my iPhone 8. After I installed it and found Touch ID not working, my daughter used the phone for a day, and then the screen went black. I've tried a hard reset and all sorts of things to no avail. I've carefully replaced iPhone screens several times and wasn't expecting this. Very disappointed.

The screen worked well and was easy enough to follow the detailed instructions. BUT he didn't have a proper Phillips screwdriver to remove the first two bottom screws on either side of the charging port. We were fortunate that we also ordered a spare battery and that pack had a tool and they were of a much better quality than the ones in this pack. All the tools in this pack were of such poor quality that they were difficult to use. Wouldn't buy again.

Despite some negative reviews the screen replacement works great - may not have been assembled correctly. It looks and works (including the fingerprint sensor) the same as the original Apple version, but cheaper. Even the phone repair kiosk at our local mall charged $75 to install another aftermarket screen (I doubt it's actually Apple at that price), but it comes with all the tools you need and is on YouTube there are many guides on how to do it yourself. At home.

I don't know how to rate this, I've been following youtube videos to T, spent so much time couldn't make the screen flush with the house If When you're done you've tried several times but there will still be a case and while it's working fine you plugged the phone in and turned it on and everything on the screen works but now my daughter's phone doesn't work. I have no idea what happened, I looked through everything and did everything right, but now there is no imei in the list, it is not…
