So far so good good for window treatment

So far so good! I used some shampoo in the water as recommended. Installation was pretty easy. The corners are the hardest part. I used a ruler and an Xacto knife to trim off the excess. Using a ruler definitely helped. In the areas where I didn't use the ruler it's definitely not as accurate as the areas where I did. The most annoying moment was removing the backing from the vinyl before attaching it. It definitely lets light through while providing privacy. It is very opaque and you cannot…

do not recommend!

I used to use a lot of window film on my windows and NONE of them had writing on the film itself. When I installed it yesterday I was initially amazed at how this film looked on my shower door and loved how that it was fairly easy to install. BUT this morning. I noticed that there is an "S" on the corner. Find out if the company does this with all of its films. or a worker put it there. or if it came from the label that was on it. definitely. This makes the movie look like a snippet and is now…

Works as it should

I have bought over 8 privacy films from different suppliers and brands and those who give less than 5 because they are new to window film or just don't know how to apply it properly. A few tips: - rotary knife and large ruler (quilters usually have these items) Slightly oversized cutout on the cutting mat, but if you don't have one use a marker and mark yourself - Clean the window with Windex and then use a Spray bottle and water on the window (it's ok if it drips, it's better if there's more…

What a great product!

So lucky to be able to work from home during the pandemic. I've never done that. My dog had to get used to it. He felt he had to patrol our windows 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and he developed a new habit of jumping/leaning against the windowsill to inspect the property from our upstairs windows. barking followed. He didn't care that I was in a meeting. So I thought let me find something to cover the bottom of the window just enough so he doesn't peek out and start barking. That helped. I can

Amazing product - has lasted for years - just buy it!

I am writing this review after using the product for 2.5 years - I purchased this product for privacy on Anderson's ground level sliding glass door in a rental apartment. It went on slightly after I sprayed Windex on the window and I smoothed out the bubbles with an old credit card working from the center outwards. I cut the film with a metal ruler and a straight blade. And in 2.5 years in this rental, the privacy screen film has NEVER cracked or failed. And when it was time to take it off, I…

Easy to apply good for window decals and wraps

I bought this for a shop door that we no longer use but we didn't want people looking in and seeing what we had stacked in front of it. The roll I bought was wider than the dimensions of the glass in the door and longer. I'm glad I bought more because I just taped it to the frame around the window and trimmed about 1/2 inch behind the frame (still larger than glass) then I put it on the glass and vinyl sprayed and pressed it down. into the glass. Then I took a flat object (a plastic ruler)…

Great staying power and does the job

We used this for the huge picture window in our master bathroom while waiting for our blinds to be delivered. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up for those 5 weeks and how EASILY we were able to completely remove it at the same time when the time came. Sticking it on the window was easy - the only difficulty was carefully cutting it after applying it to the window. Our edges were a little jagged - we didn't mind as we knew it was a temporary fix, but I wouldn't be entirely happy…
