Although the description says MagSafe it will not hold the phone without the included magnets which need to be attached to either the phone or the case. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for a MagSafe holder.

I got this mount for my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the mount is very flimsy, the hinge doesn't hold when the phone is connected. The phone is too heavy and just tilts down. I do not recommend this mount. It's also not very convenient to hold the phone with MagSafe on it.

Great concept, but a major design flaw. This item cannot support the weight of both the MagSafe charger and the installed iPhone 12. It will constantly sag until your phone is facing down (poor viewing angle). I have an iPhone 12 mini with Apple's MagSafe leather case (fairly thin case) so my setup is pretty easy to get started.

Magnets are strong enough to keep the MagSafe charger connected and then my phone will connect to the MagSafe charger but head on the actual mount can't hold my phone in place.
