DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOUR CHILD PEED IN THE BED!

I bought this mattress pad for my son's double bed because the product description says '100% waterproof' and the mattress doesn't get wet on the bed. Well my son had an accident over the weekend and I'll tell you. The mattress topper is not even 1% waterproof! When I unzipped it to take it off, I noticed that all the urine had seeped through the supposedly 100% waterproof material! Fits great and is well made

First I received this product within 2 days of purchase. I read the good and bad reviews and decided to buy it. It's amazing how mixed reviews can come about. In any case, this mattress topper seems to be well made. And I could put it on my mattress myself! I placed the short end of the mattress on a 2 1/2 foot tall chest that I keep at the foot of the bed and it was very easy to lay it out that way. I read the care instructions verbatim: 1. Machine wash on COLD on GENTLE cycle2. Tumble dry on LOW or AIR DRY3. DO NOT BLEACH If you wash anything rubberized in ANY BUT COLD OR COOL water, it will quickly fail or deteriorate. This is common knowledge. How can people not know that? Probably because the instructions are thrown away before the product is used (and then write bad reviews about an inferior product).
