This fan works with Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53 but is slightly thinner than the original part. This is a small issue with the tape connecting the fan and cooling tubes. At $10 each, I regret not buying 2 and installing them at the same time. My laptop is quiet again! And it was very easy to replace.

I knew I needed to buy a replacement for my laptop fans as they were very dusty and I ended up using a fan with a can of compressed gas damaged ones since I didn't know that blowing out too much air can damage your fan. I decided to buy 2 of these as they are the cheapest on Amazon and ship from the US, many of them ship from China at higher prices. both are installed and working fine, will be updated in 1 month. Update: They lasted 1 year, seems fair how much it costs.

Wow! I am impressed! Installation took about 20 minutes (I'm also a computer engineer). The fans come with a small screwdriver and a special tool to separate things without damaging them. I didn't need any of these tools but in case you need them. Fans work amazing! They are so quiet and they are basically the same Chinese OEM parts that originally came with my computer. (The previous owner didn't know how to take care of his PC and sold it cheaply because the fans were noisy (easy to replace!)
