I got this shirt to wear kayaking because it protects my skin from the sun and dries quickly. I like the hood because even though I rarely (never) put the hood up, the extra fabric on the back of my neck protects that sensitive area from the sun. It also protects my neck against any straps like the one on the plastic case I put my cell phone in. I love the soft blue color, this lightweight shirt is great for everything from working in my garden to cool mornings working at my desk. Stains have come out easily while the shirt retains a complimentary shade of blue that I think looks flattering even on my very pale skin tone.The fabric feels very lightweight to wear, but is resilient to outdoor work & thick enough that you don’t have to worry about the color or texture of undergarments.

I ordered this hoodie in XL when my usual size is large. I sized up because I planned on layering this hoodie over tank tops and tees. The XL is roomy and doesn't cling at all, but I think that I would have been fine with a large. The hoodie is light and nice quality. I like that it doesn't have any brands displayed on it.
