After trying this workholding tool, I cannot imagine using anything else. Industrial and scientific applications require reliable equipment, and this C-clamp delivers. The only downside is that it's not adjustable, so make sure to choose the right size for your needs. Overall, great value and essential for any toolbox.

I deducted two stars - one because the clip I received was not an adjustable clip (whether or not it became another zombie brand like Irwin is of limited value here), and two more , because I think the thread is message I received (marked by Irwin and cool Lego-inspired industrial design for kids) is of poor quality.

This C-Clamp is almost identical to the one I've had for forty years. It's the same size, shape and finish and should last as long as the old one. They never seem to wear out no matter how much abuse they receive. I used this new one to hold a quarter circle in cutting position and it worked really well. It was cheap and worked very well for me. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one of these. More expensive is not always better, in this case the cheapest will do.
