📸 Bogen Manfrotto Quick Release Plate Compatible with RC2, 3030, 3130, 3160, 3265, and DC106 Heads Review

Have been using bow tripods for over 50 years. They are selling very well and this mounting plate is the same quality as any other Bogen product I have had. I only have six of their tripods now, and they suggest mounting plates.

Wrongly stated the 486rc2 ball head fits my Manfrotto bow. Had to reorder UPDATE: My mistake. It's been a few years since I've used this particular tripod and I was wrong. This plate worked fine as I had misaligned it.

I bought this quick release plate because the description said it was compatible with the Manfrotto 3130 tripod head. But unfortunately it doesn't fit perfectly on my Manfrotto 3130 tripod head. The camera doesn't fall (Sony NX5), it's firm, but there's a lot of play with the slightest rotation or tilt. on a different tripod head, but it definitely doesn't fit properly on the Manfrotto 3130 tripod head.

Bought a Manfrotto 3265 head 15 years ago to use with my 10x70 binoculars. Now I have a DSLR and added this plate to quickly change tools. This QR plate works just as well as the originals - I'm very satisfied and the price is even more worth it. LOCK OUT. I dropped my Nikon D80 off my head because it can't be repaired like the original - now I need to replace a 72mm UV filter that cracked when it fell.

Quick release plate FITS Manfrotto 200PL-14 mount BUT IT DOESN'T LOCK IT. The statement "It is compatible with the following types of Bogen/Manfrotto heads and adapters" is misleading. It was an experiment for me, I ordered this product and the actual 200PL in the B&H photo. , this one is not locked, but the B&H one (which costs twice as much) is locked. If you want the real thing, you have to pay for it. I'll take this one and process it a bit to see if I can get it to block.
