Low oven. Buy one.

later This little stove is strong and durable. Good quality kitchen set at a good price. Bonus for being able to use multiple sources of fuel, including wood. The only thing I would add for a firewood firebox is an ash stove on the floor, but I just cut it from a thick piece of sheet metal. The folded stove holds two hockey puck-sized wood and resin pellets and a lighter or small iron stick. The folded stove packs neatly into the cauldron. The handle on my pan wasn't exactly soldered, so took a

Great little camping stove

I bought this for car camping. I wanted something compact and simple - I didn't want to mess with bottled fuel. A stove was needed that would quickly boil water for coffee, tea, and dried (MRE-style) food bags. For this purpose, additional compacted combustion discs were purchased. Worked GREAT, boiled 2 cups of water in less than 10 minutes. Easy to store away when not in use, easy to clean. Make sure the surface it is placed on is level. I found that 1/2 slice of fuel was enough for morningโ€ฆ

Only 4 stars because it's heavy. 5 stars if it were a little lighter.

Excellent design. In fact, the cooker has 3 positions for pans of different sizes. It's well built and built like a tank, so it's a bit heavy. I want to give the overall package 5 stars, I really do. The pot is also very good. The lid fits either side, so it's also a small steamer. You need some sort of handle to use the lid as a small pan, but it makes a nice plate/shallow bowl. The stove (with 2 cedar fuel rods) slides in and the pot handle locks into place (?). Everything is in its placeโ€ฆ

A must have for camping!

This QuickStove is the best ever! It should be part of every camper's stash, and every survivor should buy it. We recently went camping for 5 days and have used it so many times. Everything from heating up that morning coffee to cooking food. The cooking area folds into a cube, is strong enough to hold a 10-inch cast iron skillet, and can be configured to hold items of different sizes. The cooking portion fits nicely in a lidded pot โ€“ the lid folds down lengthwise like a cute little packet. Itโ€ฆ

Ability to use different types of fuel

The stove itself is an enlarged version of Esbit stoves. It opens a little wider than regular small folding stoves, but also adjusts to a smaller opening to accommodate smaller pots or cups. I've used solid fuel pellets, a Trangia spirit stove, and an inch copper pipe filled with alcohol for cooking or boiling water. All of these fuels gave good cooking results. I would suggest you can also burn biofuels like twigs or leaves although I haven't tried it yet. The pot that comes with the stove isโ€ฆ
