While they are exactly as described, I didn't expect them to be so small with a very small head. However, they seem to work well on my two sewing machines and I will definitely use each one more than once due to the price - about 35 cents each. I gently wipe the accumulated dust/dirt off the sponge end with each use. Based on these two things, I simply cannot give this product a higher rating.
