Insert the media card into this adapter then insert the adapter to the CF socket of the device;. To extract the inserted media card , please directly pull the card out;. I received this product today. Let me just say wow if it works great on my Nikon D300. High Brute Force still works as it should. I really love this product. This allows me to use my old SD cards. So far, so good. Only time can tell. I don't give him five starts because he's a little weak. I've fallen over time, this is my not the last time. But I have 0lan to use it until it breaks.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Not recognized by camera or computer

Plugged the SD card into the adapter and the adapter into the camera. My camera did not recognize the presence of the card. My camera still recognizes the older CF card. For troubleshooting, I tested the adapter in a memory card reader connected to my PC. You didn't realize it either. My PC recognized the old CF card and SD card via the multicard reader. However, if the SD card is in the adapter and the adapter is in the CF card slot of the multi-function card reader, it will not be recognized.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Sony A200 wouldn't touch this card! it immediately showed an error and didn't even try to format it. My other camera Canon EOS 300D tried to format it but failed with error 02 the first time. On the second try I managed to format it, but after a few test shots I installed it with a card reader on the PC and the partition was corrupted/unmountable. I also tried two different brands of SD cards for this. there was no difference. When I requested a refund they offered to send a replacement but Iโ€ฆ

Doesn't transfer partition information

Setting up multiple/retro switchable settings on my old ThinkPad T23 and I wanted to use removable media as a hard drive to be able to run different configurations without having to install more The hassle and deprecation of the already old ones IDE interface. No one makes an SD/MMC card adapter that allows you to switch cards without removing the adapter. So I figured a CF to 44 pin IDE adapter would be the next best option and I could use real CF cards as well. I have confirmed that I can use

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unreliable

50/50 - One good, one bad

Glad I ordered two of these; One was junk right out of the box and the other works perfectly. If only I could get a good one I would write a 5 star review now; If I had only gotten a bad one I would rant and swear by a 1 star rating. Like so many other things electronic, this is Russian roulette whether you win or lose. When they arrived I started them. through several extensive read/write tests. Two different Transcend SD cards were used: 32GB 600x and 16GB 300x. Transfer rates wereโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Obsolete model

doesn't work at all on windows anymore

lol barely worked on windows as a removable disk and went through the size of the sd card but most bios with the first form "size query" ata command refused to accept It reported sizes but now it just shows up as a device with no card inserted in Windows, although there is a beep saying the device has just been connected to a POS device as it reports it is "removable" is, although 99% of devices would work better if it reported "fixed" (removable media bit should ALWAYS be "0" in this adapter's

Pros
  • brings joy
Cons
  • there is trouble
