Appear to be well made. They definitely help with hot surfaces and slides. The problem is that most dogs don't like walking in hard-soled shoes, and some just can't learn to walk. I think I'll stick with a more 'sock-like' foot cover.

These boots looked really good and came with instructions on how to teach your dog to use booties which was great but I had to return them Because they were they were constantly flipped upside down (sole up) on my puppies' paws. Not sure if the problem was the wrong size as they seemed to be quite snug.

I bought these for a dog I walk with, he's not mine. As a dog breeder, the comfort of the dog is important to me. The owner let her dog wear thick latex boots. They were extremely uncomfortable to put on and too hot for the summer sidewalk. But these Qumy boots are SO easy to put on and look SO cute. You have to be sure the velcro is very tight or they will fall off. My dog wears very small so maybe it's more difficult. In any case, they look good and have a breathable upper.

My dog has been wearing Ruffwear 1.5 inches for the past 3 years quite successfully. I was looking for something more flexible that came a little higher. I measured carefully and ordered a size 4, then a size 3. Both were too big (usually too much material on the paws) and the dog just didn't like them. Perfect width and I like the thick sole but too much material when opening for small dogs resulting in a lot of overlap/excess material, which does not allow enough tension on the Velcro straps. If you tighten the velcro more tightly, my dog hurts. There should also be 2 straps, as in shoes for large breed dogs. A strap doesn't hold the shoe in place so it rotates and the sole lands on the side or on the paws. I'm considering returning them, but I might just cut off the excess material and see…

I was very surprised to only receive 2 shoes. I went back to check the order and sure enough it said 2 shoes. No doubt this has happened to several people.
