Size runs small. Our 22 pounds. Cockapoo is usually about average size. But we had to order XL to make it comfortable. It is well made from nice material.

Loved the material, felt soft and was so adorable. Didn't fit my dog, it was undone and I thought about leaving it but wanted it to actually close completely. I bought two. My dogs are usually between small and medium in size and I would easily have to buy a large or larger size. I don't have a product photo but I am including photos of my dogs. I would buy this again!

THIS SHIRT IS SO CUTE. I have a plaid shirt that looks the same except it has a long sleeve so the fact that I can mate with my dog got me excited. The shirt fits PERFECTLY. My dog is a Chihuahua mix and weighs 12.5 pounds. Its chest is about 17 inches, its neck is about 11 inches, and its back is about 13 inches long. I bought him a big one. The back length of the shirt is a little longer, but only 1.5 inches, so no problem.

Big cat size finally arrived! I ordered plaid flannel for my 23 lb cat, Ben. I am very happy with the quality and cut of the shirt (it looks like a light flannel and is sewn well). I LOVE this shirt lol but definitely MORE. My dog is 9 pounds and usually carries a small one. After reading the reviews I bought him a medium and even at this time of year he clipped close to his fur. The shirt has 3 buttons at the bottom, which I really like. Bought the 3XL in blue and red for my Miniature Schnauzer Corgi mix dog, he is about 28 lbs. Not very happy with it. I ordered an XS for my 7 lb Pomeranian Chihuahua. She's a little thing. I was sure that XS would be the right size for her. Not even close. It wouldn't even suit her when she was a puppy. If you choose this one, please choose at least one size larger than usual. Also measure your pet's chest and body length (shoulders about 1 inch from tail), add about 1 inch, then use that size. I ordered the recommended size and it runs about an inch smaller in all areas.
