LCD good quality, I will buy more!

High quality screen and accessories. I recommend downloading the i2c scanner sketch to verify the screen address. The one I got was 0x3F. I thought it was DOA and then I realized that there is a contrast adjustment on the serial adapter. Also make sure the pin configuration is correct in your i2c library. The pins are replaced with the chip's serial/parallel port pins, starting at Port0, and not with a physical pin on the chip. You need to open the datasheet of the serial-parallel chip used for

Good value, but check visually before turning on!

Overall I am happy with this product, the price was good and the delivery was fast. The only problem is that you need to check that the pins on the I2C board are not shorted to the back of the LCD board. What I got was a short between one of the pins of the 4 pin header (the I2C board) and a solder joint on the back of the display board. main problem; There wasn't enough spacing between the boards to accommodate the length of the connector pins on the back of the I2C board. To fix the problem…

Pros
  • Stable results when tested
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

ADJUST THE CONTRAST! - Mine was basically off.

This contrast is no joke! Turn the contrast (the screw next to the input pins) until you see black squares, then go back to where they just disappear. One of the previous reviewers said to adjust the contrast before messing with the code. If only I had listened. I thought it was because the address was 0x3F (which it is). Turns out my contrast was basically turned off. For this they lose a star because it makes no sense to send it in this form. I also had a bent pin in shipping, but it's easy…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great little display

Great little display! I didn't have a project to put it in yet, but I put it in to see how it looks and I've had no trouble with the library being the usual "send" ads. Everything was packaged very well and there were no minor scratches or surface imperfections on the LCD. The seller was great and very helpful.

The product works very well.

Qunqi IIC/I2C/TWI 1602 Blue Backlight Serial LCD Module for Arduino UNO R3 MEGA2560 The product works perfectly. I used the LiquidCrystal_PCF8574 library available in the Arduino Library Manager. My device used the i2c address 0x27. I had to manually adjust the contrast to see the text. I have attached a picture with a contrast adjustment screw. I ran the included example sketch LiquidCrystal_PCF8574_Test. I actually got this cryptic message on the serial display: Dose: Check LCD Error: 0: LCD…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Protection
