Easy installation and now the engine runs smoothly

It took about two hours to remove the air intake and install new spark plugs and coils. The plug gap was significantly smaller than the original plugs, but the same for all six new plugs, so I assumed it was correct. Definitely fixed lack and hesitation. Engine performance has improved significantly.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Operating speed

Don't be fooled!: Coil Sets

If you think you'll save money, don't buy these coil sets. I did what y'all did, bought those cheap parts, thinking I'd save money. Well after 2 years I already had two coil packs out of service and spent a lot of time replacing them. Buying OEM parts for your vehicles saves you time, nerves and money in the long run.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Good overall, but...

Cheap crappy coils killed PKM

These cheap crappy coils shorted out a few minutes after starting, shorting out the computer in the process. If you're looking to spend an extra $2,000 repairing damage, these reels are for you. Otherwise, stay away from them as much as possible. You get what you pay for, so don't skimp here. 2008 MKZ cars, don't hesitate to google how a bad coil can short out and ruin your PCM if you don't believe this review. Buy carefully!

Cheap junk plastic, best ignition parts

I bought this ignition coil and spark plug set thinking it would save me money. I had spark plugs and QYL coils installed. The engine started worse than before I removed the original spark plugs/coils. I ripped it back up and noticed that the spark plugs didn't burn straight away, one didn't burn at all, two were black and a QYL coil on cylinder 2 burned out. and it's only idle for about 10 seconds after swapping out the QYL parts. So I bought junk and replacing the original parts with QYL cost

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Functionality
