Very dim and does not match the product description

Trying to install one of these bulbs to replace a 150w halogen bulb. Color wise it's quite yellow so I'd say it's probably around 2700K as advertised. However, the bulb is VERY weak and in no way replaces a 150w halogen bulb. I hooked it up to a power meter and it only draws 10 watts - only half the rated power.

Manufacturing issues

These bulbs are excellent replacements for 100w halogen bulbs. They have about the same brightness and beautiful color at full power. They're cooler in color when dimmed than halogens when dimmed, but that's true of many of the dimmable LEDs I've used. The problem is that one of the lights has a loose connection and flickers when people walk towards the light. attachment. A closer look reveals that the "thread" of the LED in the bulb is loose. Good replacement for working headlights.

I used them to replace halogen bulbs (500 and 300w). Replacement bulbs are not rated for the same amount of light as a 500w or 300w halogen bulb BUT they are BRIGHT ENOUGH for my use. This is a very bright white light. The units I received were slightly longer than the original halogen bulbs, but all of my work lights could handle that extra length with no modifications required. They fit better than the original bulbs. Now I can use my work lights without them generating a lot of heat around…
