Great for guinea pigs!

Great hay sack for my guinea pigs! Fits perfectly in the kitchen area of the C&C cage. They have space for water bottles on either side, or you can put them to the side of the kitchen like I did. Good quality so far! I like the velcro on the top of the pouch so they don't try to get in.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Speed

If you need a hay feeder, get it!

This is a great buy! Don't listen to criticism that the holes are big enough for your piglets to fit through. It's not like this. You must have super small guinea pigs because mine are small and the holes still aren't big enough to get through. If you are looking for a hay feeder, take this one!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Great price

Doesn't work in open bottom cages

Bought to have hay in cages all the time as we had an oh litter. We need to separate the boys until we fix them. Unfortunately the rabbits got in earlier and the older rabbits pulled out the hay and it fell through. Useless if they are not at ground level, what I feed to others on the ground is useless.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not bad

Great for rabbits

This hay bag is great for a rabbit family's cage. There are enough holes for most rabbits to eat at the same time. The mother bunny found that she could lie behind him and the babies left her alone. These holes are big enough for babies to stick their heads through to chew on hay. Of course, this means my little shorty can climb in if the hay level gets too low.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

Too big for guinea pigs

Good quality, seems strong and durable, too big for guinea pigs. I have two very large female guinea pigs, both over 2lbs, and both are constantly trying to climb into their pockets or put their heads in their pockets, which is dangerous. Filling it to the point where it is no longer possible would be a waste of hay as they stop caring about hay when they have more than 2 days. May be ok for 4-5 flocks of guinea pigs or a pair of large rabbits, but not for 1 or 2 guinea pigs.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive
