Race Face Chester stem

Stable as shown and great value for money! A friend liked the stem on my bike compared to the 70mm stem on her bike which I am ordering a second for her.

RACEFACE "Quality Parts Enclosed "

RACEFACE is one of my favorite manufacturers of well designed, beautiful and durable mountain bike parts. Pedals, stem, grips, etc. Raceface is used a lot on the bikes I build.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Drill Kit

Rock! Best in Stems

Need a new neck to update the bars on my old MTB. After reading a lot about good parts for big/heavy guys I settled on the RaceFace Chester. Extremely durable! The steering wheel on the bike is blocked. I also have a Chester seat post and pedals and they are all excellent quality.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Combine with Chester bars for a perfect fit

I installed this stem on my 29" midframe Giant Talon hardtail along with Chester 740 bars and Manitou shocks. I'm 5'11" and they gave me the perfect fit. with wider oars, the shorter stem didn't twitch either. Happy with my purchase.

Good product! in Bars, Headsets & Stems

I would definitely recommend this Race Face stem to anyone trying to upgrade their bike. My original stem was 60mm and I can definitely see a difference in how I sit on the bike. Very important! For me it is worth a few euros more to get a quality product. You don't want your stem to let you down when you're going downhill.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Questionable Senior Buy

All in all a great product.

Took me a few times to put it in and out of the cart, didn't want to spend close to $50 for take out. After receiving it in just two days I was very happy I decided to use it and I'm not disappointed with how much I spent because it's worth it. Looks great on my bike too. This stem is the perfect length and degree making it a really good cockpit for a rider.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Looks good, poor quality parts

Purchased to shorten stem length on my DB Overdrive. On the outside, the packaging looks nice, but the screws that come with it are of terrible quality. The specific torque settings are clearly marked on the body of the product, which is nice, but I followed everything to the letter and it ripped the hex bolt off in no time (it wasn't even at the torque setting shown, I started). the middle and it is still stripped). In any case, the stem is now stuck on my bike and I can't get it off. Not even

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
