Broke after a month and a half

After a month and a half. I took it out to check my coolant. The top parted and fell apart. Possibly cheap plastic. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Excellent general properties
Cons
  • No properties

Disappointing! good for radiator cap

Bought in December for our truck. They broke up this week. Had to buy a new one from the local parts store! My husband says he's never seen a cap fall apart like that and he's been a mechanic for years!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Yes, not really standard

I had high hopes for them, they go well with the 2001 Malibu. 2 weeks of work and suddenly the car overheated. Why? The lid couldn't withstand the pressure. I wanted to remove the cover from the hydraulic tank and it fell apart into pieces visible in the photo. Vehicle was overhauled with lapped heads, new head gaskets, new head bolts, LIM gaskets, exhaust gaskets, UIM gaskets, new T-Stat, coolant temp. Sensor, water pump, new spark plugs and wires, hoses, coolant etc. Everything worked great…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Quality
