it's good that you can charge batteries, but it seems only nickel-cadmium (? ). bought dad on D. R. more than 25 years ago, Bati is long gone, but the receiver is working. Got pros: very (! ) tenacious apparatus; economical; even on AA batteries it works for a long time, and on type C batteries it will last for the whole summer in the country. catches stations quite confidently. Cons below: the scale is too small for adjustment. The sound is legible, but the low frequencies are not enough.

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I bought it in 1998, used it for three years, almost all the time during the passage I received Odessa (in Nikolaev, about 120 km), especially 2022 radio, even then Hong Kong, it was not yet in Nikolaev, and when we launched it, somewhere for half a year they turned on the transmitter at full power only at night, from 23 to 7 hours, and, as it turned out later, they did not turn it off during the day, but somehow screwed the power to a minimum, other receivers received it no further than 2 km…

Pros
  • Extended VHF, high sensitivity and selectivity, two-channel headphone output, universal power supply, the ability to charge AA batteries and use larger batteries in addition to AA batteries (element 343 according to the Soviet classification, used in Soviet receivers and tape recorders, now I have not seen such, smaller than D - item 373).
Cons
  • In my opinion, overpriced (about $ 20), after three years the volume control, tuning and range switch began to rustle a little.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I have had this receiver for a long time and for a long time it was my "beloved wife" of all the available receivers. But time flows, the receiver circuitry is outdated, and the price has not become lower, so today you can buy better for this money. If somewhere on the Internet flea market you see him for 500-700, take it, you will not regret it. But it doesn’t cost more, although it’s good as hell, it’s just that a lot of it is outdated.

Pros
  • Good sensitivity and selectivity. Reliable, "strongly knocked down", i. E. well built and tuned. Three types of power - mains 220, C or AA batteries.
Cons
  • The sound is mediocre, with a speaker of this size it would be possible to add bass. But for speech it is optimal.
