Seems to use a lot of power but I also have an old car maybe because of that but it makes it really quiet and at full volume it's as loud as 1/6th the volume of a regular radio

Does not modulate a standard cell phone or iPod input to match typical radio volume levels, so switching to and from the AUX input requires a tremendous volume control in the car stereo.

Bought 2 of these. I have to turn the phone's volume up to maximum, but it's still almost inaudible. Both have the same problem. Purchased is easy instead and it works great now. These 2 boxes from Radio Shack are paperweights.

This thing sounded awful and the audio was very low I've installed a lot of real head units so I decided to try this thing instead of FM which plugs into the cigarette lighter and the Sound quality was absolutely rubbish, not recommended
