Worked great and easy to install

Used this over the weekend to fix my Ski-Doo. The installation takes a few minutes. Drill four bolts and, if necessary, drill a hole in the deck for the center 1/2" crank bolt.

Pros
  • Corrosion resistant
Cons
  • Some cons

Nut broke off on first ride

Poor quality product. The nut is spot welded to the plate and came loose halfway through on my first snowmobile ride, forcing me to use zip ties. Full welding would probably have prevented this.

Pros
  • Sturdy steel construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Don't worry if.

Don't even think about using those cheap little plates. The first time you use it, you break the pin that holds the nut. You'll need to wipe off some paint and weld the nut to itself with a small welder. Just save yourself some extra time and do this before attempting to mount them. Or better yet, just create them yourself for a superior product and save on costs!

Pros
  • Use in combination with Mounting Bolts #TDB-1211 / Ski Pads #SP-311
