Blocks Wi-Fi signal Macbook

It looks good and is great for lifting my MacBook. However, when I used it, my Wi-Fi signal got incredibly weak. For example, the page didn't load, then I lifted the laptop off the stand and it loaded immediately. For the price this is very disappointing. Also, I forgot to return it and am not going far past the return window. But at least I can warn other Mac users about it!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine

Poor Writing Stand

Here's the deal: This stand "bouncy". If you are planning to use this stand to elevate your laptop so the keyboard is at the best height and angle for typing, do not purchase this stand. When you tap on it, the stand bounces slightly with each keystroke, so your eyes are constantly adjusting to focus on the moving screen. A separate keyboard and mouse/trackpad on a desk is fine. It's a good stand, easy to set up and looks good too, but not great if you plan on tapping it.

The perfect stand for people with neck problems!

This is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I have very bad neck problems and the constant tension while looking at the laptop didn't help. I ordered this stand and what is the difference. Now I look straight at the screen and my neck feels better. The keyboard is easy to use even on the stand when I don't connect a keyboard. Also very practical as a bookshelf! I love to read, but again, I find it too hard to look at a book or hold it at eye level. I would recommend this to…

does not rise as high as you think

When you remove the laptop from the stand the stand will lift up as it is spring loaded. However, the actual maximum height is determined by the grip you move to the right, which moves along the edge that goes up as you move to the right. But that's at least 2.5 inches less than when the laptop isn't on its stand. the actual maximum angle is then about 30 degrees. This puts the screen much farther away from me. If it could be more vertical, it would be a few inches higher and closer. At first I

Great sturdy knee or desk stand

This is my second Rain Design laptop stand (I also have a mstand). This one is just as durable and adjustable. You have to have the laptop on the stand to see the adjustment, without anything on it it just springs back up. I actually use this lap brace because it's surprisingly good for that. Laptops are always too low when you actually put them on your lap, but this stand is stable enough with the 14-inch Dell Latitude 7490 to use on your lap while sitting on the couch. It really saves my…

Very good but not perfect

This is a light and strong construction. It's attractive and easy to use. It definitely elevates your laptop to a level that is far more ergonomic than just sitting on a desk or desk. I use this with Magic Keyboard and Macbook Pro and it's no problem. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I really want the stand to elevate the computer a few inches. I'm 5ft 8" and I find it a bit short than I would like, even on the highest settings. However, this is still a big ergonomic…

A well-folded MacBook stand helps eliminate ergonomic issues

Like many people these days, I spend most of my life with a laptop. Like many people these days, hunching over a laptop all the time caused physical discomfort. After understanding the source of my problems and reading about solutions to common laptop ergonomics problems, I chose this laptop stand as one of my tools to solve the ergonomics problems I encountered and eight months later I can share with you Glad to announce that he has fulfilled his task. Good. Fortunately, I've used my laptop on
