This is a light and strong construction. It's attractive and easy to use. It definitely elevates your laptop to a level that is far more ergonomic than just sitting on a desk or desk. I use this with Magic Keyboard and Macbook Pro and it's no problem. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I really want the stand to elevate the computer a few inches. I'm 5ft 8" and I find it a bit short than I would like, even on the highest settings. However, this is still a big ergonomic improvement for me. Another small downside is that this device cannot be boxed. In an ideal world, I'd like a stand that folds up and slips into a backpack. A few other designs suggested this, but overall it seemed like the best design. It has received good reviews in trade magazines as well as here on Revain. As I said, it's not perfect, but I'm happy with it after using it daily for a month. As it's only a month old I can't speak to durability but the construction is solid and appears to be quite solid and durable. . It seems worth the price, both in terms of construction and design. Just to answer what appears in other reviews - this is not really designed or sold to be used without another keyboard when typing on it. That. It actually defeats the purpose, because while your neck snaps, you'll incapacitate everything from your shoulders to your fingers if you try to tap on it while it's on the stand. It's fine to use it this way if you only press keys occasionally, but if you're typing for long periods of time you'll need a separate keyboard. Okay, overall a good stand if you want to make your laptop more ergonomic.
