I have two of these and they are worth every penny. They dissipate the heat from your computer and protect both your computer and your knees. Just make sure you check both the dimensions and the computer model before ordering - the sizes they make for PC are different than for Mac (PCs are larger). I bought iLap and was initially impressed. But I soon found that the fabric pillow was only held together by a simple rubber glue! The heat from the laptop melts the cement and the pillow just comes off - it's useless. It leaves a sticky residue that makes it difficult to use without a pad. Attempts to contact support via phone or email were ignored. I had to conclude that not only was the product poor quality, but the company was acting in bad faith.
