Fell apart after 2 years of use

After 2 years and 1 month of use the seam between the top and bottom panels came undone and is now leaking through a 2 inch hole. For the price I expected it to last a lot longer. This is an 'extra' shower head in our shower, so it was very easy to use: once every 4-7 days. Judging by other reviews, this is a common problem with this shower head, not "bad luck" at all. I would like to pay attention to the negative reviews when buying.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • For seniors

Like I'm in the rain!

I replaced the wall mounted shower head in my apartment with this last month and am very pleased! I was hesitant at first, wondering 1) if it would fit on my wall mount and 2) if it would be too heavy for the adjustable shower mount. The only negative I have is that I didn't buy a longer shower head. I bought a 9" and to get completely submerged my back almost touches the wall of the shower. =( Aside from having to step back a bit to fully submerge, this shower head is a hit!

Full body coverage instant gratification

Fantastic! Don't buy this if you don't have enough water pressure to push it - if you do you will feel frustrated. I had lower water pressure and was disappointed but I did some plumbing to fix it and as soon as I did I got a big grin on my face the first time I got under it. Instant gratification. Wet the moment you step under it. House guests who used it loved my shower experience. We're not talking a little spray here, we're talking full coverage. Even if the room is cold, you can standโ€ฆ

Great looks and water flow

I love this shower head and for the price you can't beat it. 2-3 years ago I bought an Aquabrass 801pc ceiling mount showerhead for $400 and the surface started to discolor. I have sent photos to the manufacturer with an explanation of the problem but to their customer service department. will not replace my rusty showerhead. The Alfi shower head is made from 304 stainless steel and should not have any discoloration issues. The Alfi shower head is much larger for 1/4 the price and has excellent

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Rain without pain!

I love this shower head. During the renovation, all of our fittings were from Hansgrohe. But for some reason I just didn't like their rainfall showerheads (or whatever was sold at Lowes or Home Depot). It was a really lucky search for Revain that led me to come across this product. When I showed it to my wife and gave the price, she didn't believe me either. We also bought the following http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TSAA1N4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_25 to go with it (my ceiling is 10ft in

Rain shower head in Showerheads

But this shower head is for a bathroom renovation and looked great at first glance. As a side note, it still works great but won't be as shiny as it was when it was brand new. I don't think I have hard water, but it's definitely colored by a caustic white powdery substance. I've tried lime-calcium rust remover but it didn't work to remove the stains. Due to stains I may be forced to buy another one if the price goes down and replace mine. Even small nipples get clogged sometimes, all I have toโ€ฆ

  • There's something to it

Amazing hit for the shower head!

I first tried to order a different brand rain shower head elsewhere: Moen? Colour? I can not remember. Although I remember it wasn't on Revain.com but on a Lowes subsidiary. The price was around $175. It's been a few weeks and still no show. So I called and found out it was last year's model, discontinued and not available and I was never notified (until I called). They would sell me this year's model for only $550! Yes. I declined, looked around and risked about $100. It was packaged very well

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Bad quality, doesn't last.

UPDATE November 23, 2018: I wanted to update this review based on Alfie's response to my review (see comment below). According to the comment, I contacted Jason and gave them the part number for my rain shower head. Apparently my shower head was fake; but they still sent me a new replacement shower head and I really appreciate it. The new Alfi shower head looks the same to me, but the part number is completely different. I'm glad I have a working rain shower head in my shower again and I hopeโ€ฆ
