They took more than 2 days to reach full size but they were pretty neat. Bright colors. Irresistible to hold. I think kids would love to play with them in the pool or bath in the summer, but there is a word of caution for you. They dissolve and it gets dirty so they can clog the pool filter. I got it for a sensory play for my almost 2 year old. I was disappointed. They had been soaked for about 14 hours so not life size yet. Well, they fall apart. When I carefully lifted some of them, they were torn in half or crumbled. If you try to crush them, they will fall apart completely. waste of money. Of course, they would also be extremely dangerous for my little one, so I won't use them on him.

I don't often review products and wanted to LOVE them but unfortunately the reviews about falling apart were accurate. If you are using them for children, especially younger children, for something like a sensory basket, please do not purchase this product. When they reach their full size, they simply break into pieces. Never leave babies with you unattended. For an 8 year old who wants to destroy things they would be fine. But not for the intended use.
