- I was excited to add some African-inspired decorations to my home and kitchen for a Kwanzaa party, but I was thoroughly disappointed with these decorations. The materials were flimsy and easily tore, and the cultural representation was inaccurate. The colors of the decorations were washed out and did not match the vibrant hues usually associated with African heritage. Save your money and find better-quality decorations elsewhere.
