Paddle I Love - Pickleball

A lot of research led me to this paddle. I am an advanced player/beginner. Right-handed in his 40s. I play pickleball 2-4 times a week. This racquet puts my serves where I think they should be and balls go through the net. According to professional reviews, it plays like an $89 paddle. I agree. A very large sweet spot and about 10% more power for my shots. For me it was a very good buy.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Thin

As a pickleball newbie, I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on a pair of clubs. But after trying a typical beginner plywood paddle and then one of these Rally Tyro 2 Pro models, I was convinced. You're worth it. You have a lot more feelings. And they are much lighter than plywood. You will not regret buying this paddle.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

I'm learning to play pickleball with this racquet

Love this racquet. I'm a beginner and when I play with a player for the first time I borrow a racquet from her to compare it to simple wood racquets intended for beginners. I liked her grip. This grip is the same, but this one is a little heavier, which I like. This is exactly what I wanted and the second time I played this racket for the first time, I and others noticed how much I had improved from the first game.

Pros
  • Consistent test scores
Cons
  • Quality

Heavy but strong for sports

Just started pickleball and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a paddle. I thought this paddle would suffice as a starter and it is. It is well made and appears to be durable. I was happy with it until my wife bought another paddle. This model is much lighter. Not that it's a bad thing, but you have to consider that a lighter paddle can be moved faster to catch some of those powerful Kitchenline hits. At my age I need as much speed as possible.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

works well and is the descent size with good sweet spot.

First blade owned. runs well and has a trigger-sized sweet spot with good pop and control. The handle feels cheap, significant compared to the paddles my friends have for the same price. The grip stays dry for the most part, but it looks like it's held in place with duct tape. I recommend this product neutrally, I wouldn't buy it again, but I don't think you'll be upset about it either. I had a paddle problem and pickleballcentral was quick to respond and solve it. 5 out of 5 for the seller and

The Rally Tyro 2 Pro's paddle feels good - light and responsive.

I'm new to pickleball but have played several racquet sports like tennis and paddleball. I borrowed the paddles before buying them. The Rally Tyro 2 Pro paddle feels very comfortable - light, with good response, allowing you to reliably hit the net anywhere in the paddle. The handle is comfortable and just the right size. I researched the composition of the paddle and it was right for me. Rally Tyro has a big advantage with low overhang, perfect! It also has a nice soft cover - a bonus. I have…

Everything seemed fine at first

Very easy, just what I wanted. At first everything seemed fine, but then, after about the third use, he reacted differently to the ball. The sound the ball makes on the stick (which all pickleball players are familiar with) is very strange (high pitched ?), so much so that other players are commenting on it. It's hard to explain, but the lack of a familiar sound confuses me. Other players with the same weight and composite paddles don't have this problem. It's not broken, just makes a very…
