Glue doesn't last

If the disc can stick to the surface I put it on top, was great. The first time I tried to remove the mount the disc came loose. This happened a second time and the glue was set. Luckily I tried to place this in a spot where I could drill a hole in it and use a nut and bolt to hold it in place. Be careful when removing fasteners.

Easy to remove from car mounts

The best thing I can say about these sticky pads is that they are easy to remove. Why? because they don't stick! Don't even think about buying these things hoping it will save you from dropping your phone holder off the dashboard. These things don't even stick. Better to use tape. The first lasted two days, the second didn't even stick. I can't express how bad they are. Terrible!

So far, so good. To update. I deducted a star.

I had 3 other mounting plates from different vendors which each time failed within a few months. So far this one is holding up, but I've only been using it for 1 month. I'll update my rating when it goes down. Update: After 2 months this one fell out like the others. The assembly area is divided into two. The outside temperature is very high (high 80s) so I'm sure that contributes to the failure.

Works better than I expected.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. As you can imagine, parked cars get a little hot. Last week I put one of these discs on my FJ Cruise's dashboard. The dashboard has dimples like a golf ball. My GPS is still tied to it. and it's still stuck to my dashboard. I am impressed. Even the "high temp" tape for normal pike passes didn't work here at the Phoenix temperatures. If I change my mind in the future I will update this. Until then he gets 5*

Works great in GPS, finders and accessories

I drive an old truck that drives like a truck. The windshield is too far away to install GPS on it. I have a small flat spot on top of the dash next to me and installed it there. It is now much easier to read and enter routes. Since it is not on the windshield, direct sunlight does not fall on it, which spoils the suction cups. And the GPS doesn't rattle like it does on the windshield. It turned out to be a lot better than buying a new GPS.

Disappointingly top in GPS, finders and accessories

Not sure if I received a defective shipment or what. I followed the instructions as directed and they didn't last *at all*. I put them in at night and tugged lightly to see if they were securely in place before placing the phone mount on top and the pillow immediately came off. Oddly enough, I tried testing a different pad and it doesn't even feel very sticky. I feel I have no choice but to give them a 1 star rating. They literally only have one job - to glue - and they don't do that.
