Great product!: Stamp Pad

I love this foam. Ideal for applying paint, plaster and texture to any art project. I trimmed mine. Wash and reuse.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Expandable

Poisonous smell on ink pad

The poisonous smell is so strong it will give you a headache! An air quality monitor detects an unsafe level of volatile organic compounds in its vicinity. It's a tiny piece of foam, but it fills an area of 700 square meters. ft. Unfortunately it is non-refundable.

Pros
  • Like everyone else
Cons
  • Vulgarity

love this match and mix stuff

what i like about it is you can cut it to any size you want. You can also cut a round shape for better blending, as opposed to square shapes that leave an unsightly appearance or shadow marks. if it makes sense

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • was damaged

Great item for scrapbooking and stamping

I โค this item. I originally intended to use it to make mini ink tanks. But instead I cut the pad to fit in a 3x3 pocket and put rakers on top of the pad to allow it to pull in. Works perfectly. Some of these regular company ink pads are more expensive. So I just buy rakers and use them. Works great for me. No problem.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • For old

Great for not stenciling

Good for using paint or ink with stencils. Absorbs it so it's less likely to migrate under the stencil and ruin the final look. Only a small piece is needed, which is thrown away after use. Should be long enough! I also use stencil brushes with short bristles, otherwise your material won't get under the stencil.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Long lasting

Durable and crisp printing

I stamp over 10,000 boxes every day at work. I bought these to cut into small blocks and glue to the bottom for a better form of cardstock printing. Although my work supplies me with ink pads, these have been the most durable I have ever used. It withstands repeated movements, holds ink longer and leaves a sharper print than traditional foam pads.

Pros
  • 8" x 10"
Cons
  • Large and bulky

I will make many ink pads!

I'm going to use this to make 30 small ink pads that will be "painted" with goache paint. I bought these for the plastic holder and lid which are perfect for stamping as the lid allows the pad to sit over the holder making it easier to use the pads to apply ink to the stamps. But I'll tear up our sponge and replace it with this one.

Pros
  • Has a non-stick coating; Reusable
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Ideal for strokes with alcohol ink!

I love this stuff! It holds quite a bit of ink, it can be glued to any pen (I glued a square of this to a fancy piece of acrylic), and when I was done inking I just poured some rubbing alcohol into a disposable cup. and washed it. It was smeared, but all the ink was gone. It's very thick, almost 1/2 inch, and easily cut. It does not have an adhesive side but consists of three separate layers. Good product!

Pros
  • For use with pigmented and viscous inks, paints and glues
Cons
  • not reliable
