Great field tool

I do field design work for clients. This little tool is so handy it's hard to imagine life without it. I even bought them for my team.

Pros
  • Includes circles from 1/32" to 1" and hexagons from 1/8" to 3/4"
Cons
  • Some little things

I had one like this a few years ago and used it too.

I had one many years ago and have used it so much that after ten years it snapped in half. I've used it for sketching project plans, drawing things for school (as a math student and then as a teacher) and I'm very glad I have another one. :-)

Pros
  • Inch scale included
Cons
  • High price

Simply helpful.

Assortment overview? Oh well. I keep little rulers all over my drawers. Most of them are cheap or free, so why pay $10 for this one? Most of the free and cheap ones are thick - either thick plastic or steel with some kind of cork backing. It might be perfect for a cutting ruler but not for carrying in a laptop. Sketch-Scale is thin and fits anywhere in a small notebook without damaging the binding. It is transparent, which is great for drawing. This is a neat little template with useful shapes.

Pros
  • Features for squares from 1/8" to 5/8" and triangles from 1/8" to 5/8"
Cons
  • Will be added later
