Mini Base Board (A) for all versions of Compute Module 4. It uses a 5V/ 2.5A USB Type C interface for power supply. Compared with version B{Mini Base Board (B)}, version A has fewer functions. Without RTC, FAN controller and battery holder,but A version price is more affordable. Standard CM4 socket and color-coded Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO header. suitable for Compute Module 4 Lite/eMMC series module. Onboard multiple connectors including: CSI/DSI/RTC/FAN/HDMI/USB/RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet/Micro SD Card Slot/M.2 Slot. This model only support 5V fan and cannot work with the 12V fan. Please confirm the fan voltage before connecting. The DSI Display Port is connecting the DSI0 interface of the CM4, and doesn't use the DSI1 display interface. The Type C interface can be used for power supply or USB SLAVE interface for burning the image. When using the M.2 interface, please use the matching screws. Using screws of other lengths may cause the CM4 core to be damaged by the screws.

Compact and Versatile Compute Component

This affordable compute component surprised me with how easily it integrated into my setup. After I put it to the test, I found that it's a versatile option for those needing multiple connectors. Great base platform for CM4!

Very happy with this io board so far. It's not just a fake official Io board, it's way better. I like the RTC (Real Time Clock) feature of this board, but I have found that the supplied instructions don't work to enable RTC and shouldn't really have any function on the cm4. I just added [ dtoverlay=I2c-rtc, pcf8563 ] to config.txt and it works fine. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, the additional features and the streamlined design.
