This item works as described. It was easy to assemble without following the instructions (although the video they recommended in the manual was very helpful as well).

An absolute must! It does so much to protect your RPi with safe shutdown and power management that I won't run my RPi without it.

The hardware is easy to set up with an x825 board, a sata drive and a suitable housing. Setting up the software is a bit fiddly, but it works. The whole setup now smoothly runs a Plex music server connected via ethernet to a basement router, and sends music to Amazon echo points and Sonos speakers.

I bought it to work with the floppy controller board as well. I let both work separately, but not at the same time. I'm sure it can be done, but I'm missing something. The board is great but you have to be aware that you have to search the site for documents etc which took a bit of time.
